And for my last "catching up" post...the 4th of July! We actually did most of our celebrating on the 3rd this year, because we got to go out to a party in Addison for the kaboomtown fireworks. It was fun for all, and the kids had their latest bedtimes ever after staying up for the fireworks! We took a few pics before heading out to the celebration.
The only problem with telling them to say "cheese" is that they actually do, and then the pics have these faces...

On the 4th, we went to our neighborhood parade, but it was really hot, and the kids were a little tired after their late night the evening before, so they were kind of over it after 5 minutes. It was mostly geared for older kiddos, so we didn't stay too long. But I think it's something we will enjoy a lot in the future!
